Islamic Bekam — also known as Islamic cupping therapy or wet cupping (Hijama) — is a traditional healing method practiced by Muslims based on the teachings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is both a spiritual and physical therapy, and is considered a Sunnah, meaning it was recommended and practiced by the Prophet.
